Dale winger Nicky Adams has been transfer listed by the club after putting in a request to leave the club.

The news comes as no surprise as Dale boss John Coleman begins his much discussed "overhaul" of the squad following relegation back to League Two.

Adams has been linked with a move down the road to Bury a number of times during the season, and it is widely expected that the Shakers will be interested in acquiring his services.

When he joined the club on a permanent basis from Brentford, he signed a contract that ran until the end of the 2012-13 season, and despite a decent start to this season, his form tailed off in the second half of the season.

The next few days should see a number of departures from the club.
