The end of season awards evening was very much the Craig Dawson show after he scooped award after award.

His mum may well be needing a new mantelpiece after Saturday's Player of the Season evening, after picking a number of awards at the Dale Bar.

Dawson picked up the Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season, Most Improved Player of the Season, the SMAC Player of the Season and at one point he was threatening to make a complete clean sweep of the proceedings. 

Other award winners were Chris O'Grady who won the Supporters Player of the Year, beating Dawson by just the one vote, Jason Kennedy who got the Players' Player of the Season (tho this was accidentally given to Tom Kennedy) and Kallum Higginbotham who got the Frank Bishop Goal of the Season award for his effort at Accrington.
