McNulty Re-Registers As Player Friday, 5th Jan 2024 12:56 by Chaff Nope, it's not April 1st, we've got that few options, and that little money to add players that desperate times call for desperate measures. Jim McNulty has today confirmed that he's standing side-by-side with his players by re-registering as part of the playing squad, though hopes to not have to be used. https://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/news/2024/january/interview_mcnultygordonregistrat The New Years Day trip to AFC Fylde saw Dale only able to name three substitutes, two of which were first year academy players in Corey Edwards and Isaac Burgess and the other being Michael Afuye, who's only been a professional since summer. It's been almost 12 months since McNulty played, a 1-0 defeat at home to Carlisle at the end of January 2023. It's an embarrassing example of where we are as a football club financially at the moment unfortunately but fair play to the manager for stepping up for his players.
