Also, I have to say that Leon and Canas is starting to look a very good pairing for games when we're expecting to be under a bit more pressure defensively. I was skeptical initially whether they could play together but it certainly looks like they can. |  | | |

Thought Canas did really well last night. Covered loads of ground, broke up the play very well showing superb anticipation. He did the dirty stuff well too. He linked the play very well too and seemed slightly more on the front foot than usual. There were just a few occasions when he gave the ball away cheaply, but given the amount of time he saw the ball that's hardly surprising. He was always looking to move the play forwards, and the difference when JdG slotted into that role was obvious. Canas and Leon are our best partnership in the middle for the better teams. |  | | |

Agree totally - a couple of times Canas gave the ball away cheaply but worked his socks off trying to get it back. |  |
