good strike but what else did he do then? apart from moan like 10 babies all game I thought him and the inept bufoon Dean were actually handcuffed togehter as every time I looked they were side by side.
I thought the midfield let us down for the goal by not closing down federico had the measure of AC pretty much all game. Wet spam push fair play and gamesmanship to the limit and beyond by having the likes of Nolan, Noble and AC at the ref for every decision and some.

Don't mind that at all, if we give it out, then take a bit back, it's the way it works. Footballs going mad if fans want bookings for that.
As for the goal, Ash misjudged the ball in the air again, and Fede (who otherwise was quality imo) got skinned. Can't fault the finish, top class. |  | | |

It was a brilliant goal and would be a contender for Goal of the Season if he was one of ours.
However should have been booked for his gestures towards the crowd - could have caused trouble. That said, with the stick he had suppose you can't blame him. In fairness he said on MOTD getting stick is part of the game |  | | |

I dislike Andy Carrol intensely. His constant niggling at the ref, his constant mouthing to the opposition, his constant fouling off the ball. I don`t even think he is a particularly good footballer. That said it hurts me to admit that his goal against us was as good if not better than anything scored at the Liberty this season. Yes, he should have been closed down earlier, but that finish was superb.
The goal celebration was odious, however. No matter how much you are being goaded by the crowd, you are a highly paid professional. Get on with it.
What a difference to Gomis`s goal celebration and the waving of the French tricolor. That was class. Something that Andy Carroll is conspicuously short of. | | | |
