A couple of people have posted that they "need to know the club's targets for next season" before buying a ST
I really don't recall anyone demanding to know what the club's targets were for the next season before buying a ST during the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's or indeed 2000's

Only if Hill was the only one to sanction the transfers. If the board felt the way of a couple of the conspiracy theorists in here do, the foot would be put down. As it is, his management of the club has led to the club being at its most profitable and a likely highest ever league finish all of which on this contract that was signed in 2013 so I'm guessing the board trust him implicitly. And rightly so. |

Not sure if it's true or not, not sure if any other clubs would do it or not.
But I trust that Hill wants to be successful, would he want 10% of a transfer or would he want to have "won promotion to the championship with a Rochdale" on his cv forever? For that reason I'm perfectly fine with him getting which ever bonuses required to keep him at the club. |
Whatever bonuses he's getting it's enough to pay for that very nice " Rolex " Submariner he's wearing on the back page of todays Obbie. Last time I looked they were just short of £ 6,000 !
