Annual award night 00:14 - May 21 with 12541 views | Gowerjack | Congratulations to swanseajill for your award, much deserved and a reminder of simpler times at our football club. The food was very pleasant. The evening as a whole was I thought very muted however,it is getting increasingly hard to spot the normal fan at the event and the atmosphere has suffered as a result. This can't have been helped by the fact that "Players & Staff of Swansea City Football Club" occupied 18 of the 58 available tables. I suppose it would be fair to question how this event can once again be something for the ordinary fan bearing in mind the immense demand for tickets coupled with the high demand from the club for tickets and the complete lack of a suitable sized venue in Swansea in which to hold it. Did anyone else on here go and what are their views ?

Annual award night on 11:32 - May 21 with 3206 views | Phil_S | Echoing the sentiments of those offering congratulations to Lorraine and an absolute honour to be able to present it to her, once of the nicer sides of the job for me! And of course to the good looking chap who won the £300 in heads and tails at the start of the night, well done for donating that back to the Freya Bevan fund...!!
Annual award night on 11:40 - May 21 with 3181 views | Uxbridge | It takes a lot for me to end up agreeing with Scouse and Darren but Lor winning this award is one of those rare times. Thoroughly deserved recognition for all her efforts in the past ensuring we even have a football club now to support. I still can't forgive her for selling her house to a bassey though.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Annual award night on 09:54 - May 21 by perchrockjack | Sorry in advance to embarrass but LORRAINE myself and my missus go back many years and for thos e who ve not met her, she s about the most gracious and humble human being imaginable. I ve amazed she s tolerate me and my little peccadilloes (ask Warwick) over the years. Without her and her band of troops we might not have a club to bitch over . I could say more but I ll save it for now. Congratulations ma am and proud to know you. ps, Barnett looks good Rich/ Mag |
I've never seen your little peccadilloes but apparently they are beautifully manicured. Congrats Lorr, I hear your Welsh cakes are legendary too.

| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Can I just point out as a woman, for the Trust not to have said anything in advance, and therefore depriving Lorraine of a brilliant justification for a new frock and probably a pair of shoes, if not a handbag as well, is utterly thoughtless :-)

Some trip that G. Poor old MAB with a knee all broke laid out on the back seat, him and his mate OWJACK missing the game, and The bus making a diversion via the hospital. Had to frog March the lads out of the pub against their will, and a hole in the bus windscreen. Just an every week away trip really wasn't it?
