I have to say I prefer ‘Queens Park Rangers’ to ‘Queen’s Park Rangers’. ‘Queen’s Park Rangers’ looks a bit…well, poncey to me!
Although it’s better than ‘Q.P. Rangers’ or ‘Queen’s Park R.’ that you used to see on some away programmes. That used to wind me right up. The apostrophe can come and go but there’s no excuse for being half ar$ed in writing our name! Boo.
