Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

No.

Have you ever been out with a girl?

This is the 21st century, so you should really be saying have you ever been out with a person.
Or in this case, have you ever been out of your bedroom except to sniff your dad's undies.

Good point.

Bahaha. That’s brilliant. A crazy woman chained to a pipe spouts a load of nonsense while another looney rages at a door and kicks and punches it. Absolutely bizarre, it’s like something from an Aristophanes play. They want our sympathy but they can’t help doing things that make us simply laugh at them, even now.

If your really lucky you might be playing in the 10th tier next season, we’ve not played there either. Would love to know what it’s like if you would be so kind as to come back and tell us.
You will have some new people to throw golf balls and batteries at 🤣

Weren’t they supposed to be having a meeting on Wednesday with the EFL to receive sanctions for being kicked out of the League Cup (just like they were kicked out of the FA Cup)? Whatever became of that?

The whole line of "it could happen to any club" is utter b*llocks.

It's the equivalent of being scammed by one of those Nigerian prince emails asking for 5 grand in return for 1,000 uncut diamonds (or milky bars in this case) and then telling everyone they should have sympathy because "it could happen to anyone"!

It couldn't happen to anyone, you have to be stupid enough to believe it, even if the facts that this isn't real are blindingly obvious...

Sure this will have been posted before, but...

...if an extension IS granted beyond today then it will prove who has been running the show - NOT the EFL.

Cannot believe that after all of this seriously overdrawn, drawn-out drama that we are at a point where this supposedly governing body is about to give more extra-extra-time. Disgusting.

It looked, (and I hope that they do stick to their deadline and ultimatum), as though they were finally making a strong stand against this after the many months of court cases.

Pulling out of their original statement is going to put them back where they were before the new acting CEO came in.

Come on - get on with it - we want to see a result, not a VAR!

Interestingly, following events on Beardy, EFL rules require proof of funding within 10 days of a takeover. This has still not been received from Dale and a legal case is being discussed against the EFL for negligence in not following this up. In other news, turkeys being given the vote for Christmas.

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!

EFL boss indicated yesterday that a ‘24, maybe a 48’ hour extension might be permissible IF parties could show today that a sale was near enough there.

This was turned around into a request for a 120 hour extension by the Bury MP as it is a bank holiday weekend.

God forbid that those involved might have to work over a weekend to save the club. It’s not like they have got any football to watch!

The Evening news have started a live death clock now as well. You've gotta love shoddy Journalism though. Bury are apparently 125 years old.....1885 is on every single comment, tweet, epitaph and casket mourning the death of Bury as well as the club badge. I assume national news outlets don't care enough to google the club after all most of their journalist only care cos it's not the weekend yet so there are no prem games on, but you'd think a local newspaper might bother at least.

Dale has just been on Talksport asking people to send pledges to him or the MP by email.

Dale just been on talksport, saying they need £2.7 million by the end of play today. He isn’t selling to an individual buyer by the sounds of it, he said he’s not selling to the chap from port vale, he also mentioned someone from Gateshead.

For everyone who pledges they get interest of 2.5% on whatever amount they pay. I understand finances and investments better than most, and this stinks of a desperate man, it’s almost a scam. The club is effectively worthless, and he’s asking for £2.7 million in less than 14 hours. It’s strikingly similar to the original car park scheme, the concert, the list goes on. These people who “invest” (I used the term invest in the loosest possible terms) are just the next people who lose money. Like local business, who according to the media will desperately suffer if bury go under.

I think this is his end game, he gets money from local people, it isn’t enough for the efl (according to dale) he disappears and somehow has a deal in place for the land which the stadium is on. I can’t believe I’m thinking that he and day may be in this together, it’s too similar to be a coincidence.

Steve Dale has just been on talksport trying to raise 2.7 million from pledges from fans and local businesses in order to satisfy efl. He has promised these funds are not needed and that they will receive 2.5% interest on any funds pledged, seriously this is ridiculous and as tin pot and last minute as it gets.

What is clear is that Dale does not have the funds or the inclination to keep bURY going, he knows they won’t raise the capital and as such are going to go to the wall. He also blamed the efl a lot and swore a fair bit, also naming 2 potential buyers he had turned down.

Jim white, keown et al stopped short of calling him a liar but were pretty critical of the lack of professionalism and referred to the previous chat with Steve Dawson.

Less than 14 hours now, tick tock, the ride is almost over!!!

Edit - just seen Reedys post, similar views!!!
