Tempted to edit it to commence each line with ‘choose’.

In a world where the media like you to help the write the story and provide the narrative:

* Football club is taken over by an unscrupulous owner
* Same football club is promoted "against all odds"
* Unscrupulous owners does partial CVA to reduce debts
* Unscrupulous owner holds EFL to ransom over deadlines
* EFL expels club for breach of rules and being unable to fulfil fixtures.
* Said media enjoys fans misery and teases and EFL appeal, legal action or both.

Fans body forever bury then decide against having all of the world's media on their side they:

1. Hold a meeting which is secret.
2. Hold a meeting which is at a really inconvenient time
3. Hold a meeting in a really inconvenient place.
4. Set conditions for you being allowed to attend that meeting.

You could not make them up.

Really?

I don't doubt you for a moment, but that is stupidity on a scale reserved for morons.

With the goodwill in the media, surely an opportunity exists for a tv company to film a fly on the wall documentary about the re-birth of a club?

If they play their cards right, they could become the nation's underdog and attract a lot of goodwill and sponsorship.

But no. The clandestine approach is their preferred (and doomed) route. Which has the added benefit that fans from other clubs can't look over the wall and laugh at them.

Poll: Who do you think bury should appoint as their next manager?

Just been a journalist on talk sport (10.50 or so) who has been investigating bURY documents and other stuff, apparently SD2 has had £115k out of the club since he took over (at least) while staff and players not being paid.

Simon Jordan was far from complimentary about SD2- quite an interesting listen and sure it will cause another meltdown on Beardyman!

Be interesting to see if Andy Burnham still wants to align himself and fight for someone/something being investigated for fraud.

Only if there's votes in it for him.

This investigation will likely see the very end of Bury Football Club. It will be unravelled and exposed as a web of deceit and deception as every layer is peeled away.

Anyone aligning themselves with this outfit needs their bumps feeling.

There won't be a club at the end of it and any notion that the EFL will re-admit them to the league (at whatever level) whilst this is taking place, is a pipe dream. It could quite easily take a couple of years to get to the bottom of it.

Only a phoenix club now has any chance of succeeding. The 'Old Lady' is rapidly stiffening.

I'm sure Radio Manchester will stand by their love in for all things SD1..... or I wonder if they distance themselves when it finally becomes a criminal matter.

I was just going through the FA Cup preliminary round results and noticed a Bury Town FC,is that the same Bury as your near neighbours and if so isn't that a ready made club to support?

I really hope you are right. I still have horrible thoughts of the EFL listening and giving into the requests for admittance into League 2 next season.

Unbelievably, according to Sky news, the EFL are now 'prepared to discuss the re-entry of Bury into the EFL'.

I hope the conversation last less than 30 seconds, with a firm refusal to do anything more. This is becoming a pathetic joke.

Just seen on Sky Sports that the EFL have agreed to discuss letting them back in

They’re going ro get back. The EFL will cave under the pressure they’re being placed under from every direction.

Sets a dangerous precedent if it happens.
