tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 2267886 views | batman | Not for us, but for Bury. i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged only Wednesday this week. looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 18:42 - May 14 by 442Dale | Adams on GMR now. Apparently they were paid on time once this season and have had 50% of March and 50% of April wage paid by PFA. This was after initially talking about the quality that was in the squad, mentioning the recruitment of Maynard - not blaming Adams or the players signed but that they were achieving with these wages running up more debts illustrates what a contradiction exists. Steve Dale and the club yet to comment. Edit: Adams has just touched upon how well BBM has done here and that he’s a good mate... [Post edited 14 May 2019 18:50]

Full interview. It lasts the full hour but he starts talking about the off-field stuff 25 minutes in (after Phil Collins). https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p077n2mc It's an excellent interview and he comes across very well. It is appalling the way he and the other staff have been treated. They would have been justified in downing tools but fair play to them all.

Did he say they had such great plans: championship football, a new stadium and fans/investors benefiting from a lucrative car park scheme. But, take a look at us now. [Post edited 14 May 2019 21:28]

Yeah, he said at the start of the season them going up was against all odds but the players showed their true colours, disproved the so-called experts who said you can't turn back time and despite all the negativity in the air tonight they got their point at Tranmere and it was like another day in paradise. Coming back to bury after several years he asked the fans Do you remember? Strangers like me. Fans said yes but you can't hurry love but when his form was good they said they can't stop loving you. Mentioned his serious injury and was hoped managers don't lose my number. Special mention to the tranmere game, they were already there but didn't wish it would rain down, but it did so they all visited a health club, but something happened on the way to heaven (name of club) and the other teams must have been saying I missed again after so many lost or drew. They thought there was a long long way to go but that Saturday they could dance into the light because the squad and staff are like one family and he said the gaffer told them all of my life, come with me, listen to both sides of the story, look through my eyes and show me your true colours. Okay, silly word association out of the way, can we keep the thread on topic? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It's an odd interview. To listen to Nicky Adams, this awful new chairman comes in and there are problems from the start. His experience of the new chairman is being paid late in January and February; only 50% of March and April wages currently paid and significant doubts if May and June wages will be paid. Yet, Nicky had a choice. Having triggered the right number of games in early March he has the option of the new contract. With all of these concerns. With all of these worries. The alternative being to leave on a free in the Summer. Things at bury must be really bad when a player burns his bridge so publicly. He's another year tied to the club he loves and who love him. Except he's a mercenary - 32 years old with a history of injury and on a lucrative contract. But with two League One clubs after him (apparently) one managed by a good mate of his. An hour long job interview. He won't get the sort of deal he is tied to somewhere else. Just like all the others.

I think he had been amazingly smart. He takes the extension and then tells the story of what is going on, days after. He gets sacked or fined he can go to tribunal, he does not get paid he can leave and sue them. Having met him a few times I doubt this was his idea as he came across as a chap you could put in a round room and say pee in the corner, he would still be walking in circles! Nice bloke though

It would not surprise me at all if Dale announces tomorrow that he’s sacked Adams for that interview, claiming gross misconduct. Hard thing for Adams in return to sue for breach of contract or take a business to court via employment tribunal that has no ability to pay. Adams has nothing to come.

Plymouth a much bigger club than the gigglers. A sleeping giant in league 2 sounds more attractive than a crumbling wreck in league 1 for sure. Plymouth a fantastic city too.

tomorrow can't come quick enough on 12:15 - May 15 with 3687 views | 49thseason | Why do they l assume that the potential purchaser would want to run a football club. Its not hard to imagine Dale knowing a few property developers who might buy the company for sufficient money to pay off the debts and put a wedge into Dales back pocket. It is, after all, a brownfield site with easy access to Manchester. Meanwhile, I doubt wages are being paid and playing staff may well be receiving offers from other clubs.

The judge seems to think its a legitimate buyer... Judge Prentis : "It seems entirely appropriate if there’s a chance in saving this historic football club". Although Im not sure what research they could have done in a few minutes - Im not sure if its coincidence but the next court date is a day before the 2019/20 fixtures are announced.

Much as though I dislike bURY as a football club, in the same way I dislike notts cheaty, Bolton, Chesterfield, Stockport, rushden and diamonds etc, it’s the individuals who run the club that should be held accountable. Both S.D.’s are the main cause of this, predominantly the milky bar kid in my opinion, but it’s not as if they don’t have history in believing nonsensical ideas and buying into anyone that claims to have big ambitions. By them I mean fans, the chairman, board, employees etc. If someone came to dale, claiming a 5 year plan to get us up to the championship, signing players way above what we can reasonably afford, constantly ending up in court for ccj’s, I think the penny would have dropped here quickly, if not before they were even appointed as chairman. Day talked bullshit and it was lapped up by the majority, including talksport, most of their fans, clearly the previous chur, and the press over their. I still see this ending very very badly for them, but whilst the fans are ridiculously nieve, it’s day that should be facing criminal charges for his actions!!!
