Just seen that KH has signed Daryl Murphy from Forest on a free. I saw him play for Forest last year and thought he was a good "old fashioned " type of centre forward who could have worked well with Hendo.
He is much better than Calvin or Alby and I wondered how we were not aware of his availability.

A Free is not necessarily a freebie.

Even at his time of life (career wise) guess he's still played 95% of his footie in Championship. (and some above that).

Expect that to be a few £K per week; sure I read somewhere that they weren't allowed to sign anyone on more than £7,000 per week.

I think it’s a bit unfair to suggest BBM has missed an opportunity as it insinuates that he doesn’t know what he’s doing. If he missed out on signing someone, it won’t be because he wasn’t aware of them, that’s for sure.
