We’ve just had one of those massively one sided games that the favourite lost. Would have been nice to have had a few bob on Uruguay this morning.

RUGBY WORLD CUP 2019 THREAD on 13:37 - Sep 26 with 2398 views | ladyjack | England continue to continually hit high, there was a high shot in their first match that our tv coverage never replayed and was not talked about and then today there was another English high shot that they just said others had got away with it and it was the first minute but the second one of their own took a high shot they wanted a red card with the summariser saying something typically English straight out of the Pitbull playbook of ''I don't care what anybody says''. Farrell is the biggest culprit of no arms tackling in the Northern Hemisphere, he didn't like been on the receiving end did he !, same old England. [Post edited 26 Sep 2019 13:39]

Walkovers at the moment and too long between big games. Plus the times of the games means no pub (well not until they become important, at least). May gain more traction as it progresses, maybe with Wales Oz and Eng Argie or France. After that it’s probably QF before many take notice. It’s the penalty of probably only having two or three teams that can actually win the thing, and there aren’t many shocks. I’m looking forward to Jap and the Paddies. Go Japs.

Thats because union in the uk apart from wales is a sport for the middle classes and whilst the media are trying to raise awareness its falling on deaf ears ie the proletariat are that really bothered until england get the the quarters and are well on their way to winning it

Yeah, that’s the crux of it. I think I’ve watched 2 games so far and they were last weekend. Realistically, there aren’t many full time 9-5 workers who can watch a 6, 9 or 11 o’clock kickoff.

Its the same in Wales. It’s the “come on Tim” factor, where everybody becomes the worlds greatest expert on a sport they only bother watching once or twice a year.

It’s no wonder he always wore white. But at least his mum could get it out with the new come removal Persil. Dermatologically tested and removes 97% more semen than other leading brands.
