Definitely. Ticket sales for the World Cup - considering capacities may still yet be limited - are surprisingly strong. I do hope to get across for a few games but am still waiting for refunds from Ticketmaster for another event so don't really want to commit anymore money just yet.

Absolutely, certainly wasn't meant as a gripe.
There's no other major sporting tournament happening this year (in the UK) that people can rally behind and attend en masse so it's a huge opportunity for rugby league to win new fans and convert sceptics if personal circumstances allow. | |
