A bit of realism about the style of football and physicality required to be successful in the lower leagues is so refreshing.

What I find more interesting is that they're half season deals. Again in previous seasons we've seen huge steps made by clubs from January onwards in League 2 and this gives us that flexibility in January if things aren't working out. | |

You need some height in lower leagues simply because no matter how you play in possession, you have to first get possession and when the other team keeps putting the ball up in the air, if you dont have some height its not easy getting the ball.
I welcome the arrival of some bigger lads to the club, I think it gives the whole team a psycholgical lift when you look around and you see you have some big lads too.
Stockdale is getting the emphasis right for me, a more direct style, some youthful pace and more "presence".... well done! |  | | |
