| Bids Accepted on 12:17 - Jan 10 by TomRAFC | It's sad to see him go. That being said, the boards commitment to only selling for good fees and reinvesting them in the transfer budget leaves me feeling a lot calmer about sales than I normally would. All the best, Jake. |
I agree but it is the reinvesting part that worries me. Would love to be proved wrong but I can see a tough old rest of the season ahead.

Some were worried when Hendo the "almost-top-scorer-ever" goal machine left. Then Humphries was off up the ladder. Now, the ex-Solihull legend is off to pastures new and the next level up. Don't get me wrong, I loved Jake as a player, warrior and an inspiration so wish him all the very best on the West Coast, but I'm not going to worry either. This comes under opportunity to me more than threat on the SWOT analysis. We've had fantastic service from a player from a lower league, made money on him to boot and now he's gone on to better things. Let's hope we can do it again. A club which doesn't stand in the way of players in the ascendancy is going to be attractive to players with talent too.
