An idea to increase club profits 18:38 - Mar 25 with 1523 viewsMax_Power

This is not a troll thread. This is a serious idea.

It’s no secret that away games are a financial drain. Since the club has season ticket holders’ information on record, on the day of away games they could send representatives of the club to the areas where the fans live and then at half-time knock on their doors to offer the sale of refreshments and club merchandise. This will help increase profits for the club and the fans will appreciate it too as it will give them that ‘match-day’ feel.

Home games are a bigger financial drain given how few turn up. Thats where the focus needs to be.

Maybe they could set up a committee to look at it. Involve Phil Jevons and Tony Ellis.

If this idea had been implemented last season, then our fans sitting at home would be content in the knowledge that they’re still eating better than the fans who travelled to Forest Green.
