I reckon 1983 is your man, but as an interim go on the train line web site and put the details of your trip in. I’m pretty sure if you have a group of 3 or more traveling together you get around 33% off each ticket. There are railcards, but you have to pay for them in advance and unless you use the train a lot you may not recover your outlay. |  | | |

I used to use the family and friends railcard when my eldest was 15 and under but now use the two together, it costs £30 but as the major says it saves at least 33%.

I always travel to away games by train, I'm lucky enough to be able to use the 26-30 railcard but I also book my tickets through Split My Fare which splits the journey into more tickets but its definitely worth it for the savings. |  | | |
