To be fair, I don't think that's what he's saying.
When the Taliban returned the Afghan army, those armed and trained by the USA and the UK, they just gave up and ran.
Most of the USA supplied equipment fell into Taliban hands, all thy didn't get was what had broken down beyond repair or had been used to flee the country.
The Taliban siezed an estimated 10 billions worth of equipment including about 30 Black hawk helicopters. |
Why didn’t the military intelligence experts in the West know this was likely to happen ?
Its s hell of a costly failure if they did not anticipate this utter collapse.

The whole thing is a shambles.
Last week there was a suggestion the local council delayed the disclosure re notification of the Legionella, now it seems that’s not the case and they told the contractor and someone from the Home Office in a timely manner but that didn’t stop people being put on the barge!
Now we have Priti Patel savaging Braverman who’s used emergency legislation to force through a plan to use an RAF base (near Patel’s constituency) for 12 months which is actually likely to be 5 years. Why don’t we just employ some civil servants to start processing the applications, boot out quite a few people whose applications have been rejected and bingo, it may start to stem the flow. As things stand we’re paying the frogs £500m to stop the boats, but they aren’t! |

There are millions of fit Afghan men they had control of the country and you believe Trump releasing a few thousand Taliban was the reason the Afghans give lol they outnumbered the Taliban big time and had a vast arsenal of weapons at there disposal but still bottled it, give up and fled, shame on them. |
