The only slight problem with that is Radford's goal though being infamous was not a winner that fell to Ricky George who scored the winner from the sub's bench

Decent? I can’t remember us taking more than this out of London. Sheffield Wednesday under Ollie. Maybe I’ve forgotten a game or two.

Old Trafford in 1995 FA Cup QF. The ground is out of London but many supporters in the ground that day were from The Smoke. Peterborough is out of London too innit?

XT as a Lord Derek of Buxton in waiting can you confirm last FA Cup win out of town was Middlesbrough ‘82? And did you go? Can’t be many that did

I can’t recall an FA Cup victory beyond the M25 boundary since that fateful, wintery, Warren Neill inspired evening. Sadly being just 12 years old and due in to the Torture Chamber known as the London Oratory, I was not part of the 80-120 Rangers fans that trekked up to frozen Ayresome that night. In fact I didn’t know the result until being told at the Torture Chamber.

We won at Yeovil in the late 80's as far as I recall. And West Brom? Jay Bothroyd scored. Slim pickings though [Post edited 9 Jan 14:52]

Yeah, Macca last minute header. There’s been loads of ‘em. I hang my head in shame and blame Daniel Padlocks for ruining my brain with Guinness and nonsensical nonsense.
| Leicester City v Q.P.R Match Type Thread. on 15:10 - Jan 9 with 47784 views | DannyPaddox | In all the excitement I forgot to qualify the question by adding beating a team in a league above us ie. When was the last time we went away and caused a “cup shock” which I think was Boro in ‘82. Thanks for the WBA & Yeovil reminders anyway. Like you say it’s slim pickings. In fact it’s only just dawned on me the win at Cambridge earlier this season was the first and only time I’ve seen the Rs win away in any cup. And the first one I went to was Roots Hall in ‘75. Here’s hoping for a double this season 🙏🏼 | | | |
