Get back to a team and formation that did so well after the above and lets go unbeaten in five games again!!.
Sadly EEL should be no where near the pitch at the moment it was the wrong decision to start him on Tuesday night and oh my did we pay.
I would like to see Henderson and Bird start up front together on Saturday and Tuesday to give us the very best chance of outscoring Maidenhead United and York City.

Thing is that if Jim was to change things back to a Beckwith / Hogan / Kingdon defence tomorrow and leave EEL out, then that's an admission he got it wrong on Tuesday. I may be wrong but I don't think I have once seen Jim admit in interview that he got something wrong.
At a time when we were really starting to build some momentum and actually looking really good across the whole team , it now feels like we have gone 3 steps backwards. I fear that if EEL starts, tomorrow its going to put unnecessary pressure on the whole team. Over to you Jim. |  | | |

Thats just how I feel rafc1977, the same as a couple of my Dale friends feel and I'm sure that many of Dale fans feel the same, I've said it before that Big Jim doesn't do all this learning from mistakes stuff, I'm predicting that he'll dig his heels in and persist (just like he did/has with tippy tappy tripe) with EEL until he's been proven right or we loose out on winning the FA Trophy and/or pormotion, then Jim just carries on as normal, I really do hope that I'm wrong !
As you have implied bringing in EEL seems to upset our rhythm, shape and tempo (my words not yours) just when we were starting to turn the corner, the one thing that I've considered and I don't think that anyone has mentioned that EEL will be one of the top earners and that apart from him being Jim's man there may be a reluctance to pay a top earner to keep the bench warm - just a thought ! |  | | |
