First two meetings minutes at the link.

On behalf of Jamie, he apologises for the delay in publishing, genuine pressures of work intervened.

Thanks for that, a very informative read. A lot of commonsense spoken also by all involved. Hopefully this is the start of things to come from the CAB, open dialogue with the supporters at the forefront of everything. Some sensitive subjects to discuss there but it seems to me that everybody has a grasp of the reality of what needs to be done. Publishing the minutes for the fans to read is also great, it makes you feel valued and not taken for granted. The biggest lesson to be learned from the car crash of the last few years is that inclusivity is everything if we are to progress, anybody promoting a 'us and them' mentality isn't welcome, we've had enough of that as fans and the Ogden family are aware of that I'm sure. Any examples of it need calling out and the perpetrators exposed, if the fanbase are expected to work together for the good of the club then lets see everybody treated as a equal, with open communication and no favouritism/ discrimination.

We've got some great fans and probably 700 Trust members, lets engage with them on every important issue, if thats not adhered to then the club has learned no lessons from recent history. I'm impressed with the CAB though , this update is spot on. I now view the CAB as a vehicle to go through should there be any issues of concern from a Supporters perspective, a independent body who are there to police the club and ensure that best practices are adhered to in respect of inclusvity and respect for all. If the fans are kept in the dark and decisions are made without full and frank consultation then don't be surprised if goodwill amongst the fans base is lost, the Ogden family can't afford that and it's not what this club is now about.

We have a important discussion that needs to take place in respect of the fans Director in the Boardroom. That's how it was envisaged at its inception, a fan and not necessarily a member of the Trust. Most of the fan base are not members of the Trust so that makes sense. I would like to request that Jamie Willoughby ensures that all members of the Trust are fully informed in respect of this particular issue and all members have been contacted in respect to any subsequent vote. I know for a fact that this hasn't happened because myself and others have had no contact. If a candidate is chosen then it must be through a fair process and all Trust members and fans must be included in the process, it has to be inclusive and non discriminatory and everybody in the fan base must be able to put themselves forward for the position. Irrespective of gender, disability etc. In a nutshell, a hand picked individual will not be recognised as a fans representative on the Board. That's the quickest way to lose the goodwill of the fan base. It's supposedly a new era, if a fan from the Asian community, a female or somebody with a disability wants to put themselves forward then they should be given the opportunity, it seems that there has been next to no consultation with the fans on this and thats a worry. Why hasn't there been? I would like the CAB to consult with the Trust on this issue as a matter of urgency and ask the reason why.
