Interesting read. Especially the bit about ticket sales/amount attending. That’s got to be worth looking into.

Good to hear that the minutes will be out sooner in future rather than any other versions.

Looking at those Altrincham & Halifax attendance numbers that would seem like around 1,000 season ticket holders per match didn't show up as you'd imagine the majority of people who actually purchased a ticket for the individual match turned up.

One a Saturday and the other a midweek game. When the attendance is announced at the end of every game I’ve automatically presumed that the vast majority of season ticket holders (approximately 2000?) have been present and that the difference is accounted for by away spectators and casual supporters but obviously not the case.

I would be one of those season-ticket holders. I have been only able to get to one home game this season for various reasons mainly to do with work, but I live a long way from Rochdale. I am surprised there as many season-ticket holders missing each game as most can't be in the same situation as me.

Apart from the obvious - illness, last minute problems etc. - I imagine there are a fare few Daleys who buy season tickets out of pure loyalty knowing full well they will not be attending every game for varying reasons. Not saying that will account for all none-attendees but probably the majority.

YOU do not have the right to give someone else permission to tell me what I can and can't do.

A lot will be children tickets that are not used every game, or ever!

Another chunk will presumably be exiles who have ‘Country season tickets’

I buy my son a season ticket ( full adult SLE) on the basis of him getting to early and late season games and midweek fixtures, but on Saturdays he is often playing Lacrosse,.
Based on £22 per game without a SC, if he gets to more than 10 or 11 games he is breaking even if he makes 12 or 13 he's in profit...and having the card is much more convenient if a Lacrosse game is called off late in the day....
