Match thread?.......All top five Clubs have home fixtures today......so it's pretty imperative we keep on winning if we want to retain top spot and hope our contendors drop points.
There are no easy games but Southend at FGR and Halifax at Boreham Wood could be close.
Aldershot under SoftLad must be due some sort of result after giving us a good game a few weeks back.....will they end their loosing streak at York?

So after 19 games we're on 46 points. After 19 games Wrexham had 43 points and went on to set the national league record of 111. Not saying we're going to hit that total but we're currently on pace to better it

Another good win. Got to admit McNulty got the changes spot on, East’s role drifting right caused them issues all game. If we can find that ruthless streak in the final third we’ll be winning even more convincingly.
Keeper did well, confident and a great save in the first half. Pritchard is such a good footballer wherever he plays.
Fantastic win and new keeper looked solid enough. Imperative we beat Southend next Saturday now. York and Carlisle dont play and York don't play again till the day after we play Alty.
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
Business was taken care of. On another day we could have scored 4. Pretty much dominated the game and probably could have gone up a few gears if needed. A nervous moment seeing Gilmour down.
Berger had another good cameo towards the end, but Allarakhia was a constant threat. Games like today suit him as he had little to do defensively.

Yeah, both Burger and Pettit were good in midfield after coming on. Mani needs a goal, not a penalty one, on another day if he’d been sharper in the box he’d have got one.
Keeper did excellently. Great save first half and as he said when interviewed, damn good with his feet.
First half i thought was under par, we hardly created anything of real note despite our possession yet they had the above chance and another whistle just wide.
Goal changed the game and a good degree of luck with it, total air-kick from their CH who had been great up until that point. We contolled it from that point and second goal sealed it. A bit like at Tamworth however we very nearly conceded straight away after the second goal.
Barlow was a thorn in them but will lastly praise the back 3 who snuffed out pretty much anything they had up top.
Old saying. Goals win games, defence wins promotion.

Whereas I thought we were really good first half! Lots of good football but poor final ball/effort on goal. 11 corners as well, but we certainly didn’t capitalise on those much.
Eastleigh defended well throughout and their much maligned keeper had a great game.
Pritchard shows touches of real class from what ive seen, thought EEL was solid too and the depth of talent on the bench is pretty scary for this level, Gilmour is wasted at this level hes FAR too good.

We have a lot of players who could make the step up.

A performance full of effort and energy. The front press was great i thought, very noticeable and well executed by all those involved. Allarakhia deserved man of the match but Pritchard and East also played well, as did Barlow when he came on from the bench. I thought we overplayed in the wide areas at times when it was crying out for a cross with Mani in the middle, he was starved of service a bit and looked a bit frustrated. That's nit picking though, it was a good solid performance and a well deserved win.

Agreed, I thought it was a decent half. We set up so many chances. Someone next to me said, 'If we got points for corners, it would be a cricket score.'

Mani today did what Amantchi did very well against Solihull Moors. He occupied defenders and allowed others around him to get the chances. Not a standout game by any means but he will be there when the chances come to add to his goal tally.
Pritchard was excellent, subs were solid coming on... feeling pretty optimistic about our chances with this squad.
York will take some stopping but it's looking now like a bit of a breakaway top 5. I hope we can emphasise that next Saturday.

If you would have said that from open play both Mani and Dev would have a lean goalscoring spell and yet we would still be top of an extremely competitive league, it would be hard to believe. So all credit to the team and management to keep finding a way to win reasonably comfortably during this time. The barren spell for the boys won’t last, and I fancy that to change for the Southend game. I think the team ethic is shining through and we will remain very hard to beat while that is the case. Well done lads. Southend have several injuries at the moment, and more importantly the game next Saturday will be pivotal for them as the could drop out of the playoffs for the first time in ages, so will very much up for it. That said I still think we will be top of the league this time next week. Is the inflatable cover definitely being used for the Southend game? I don’t want to repeat of what happened last time I travel up for this match. UTD
