Aggressive in and out of possession only downside today we only scored 2.. That's the type of football that will get the fans back if we can keep it up.. And his passion at the end.. exactly what we want.. loved it

And a team of dogs aided by a shihousr referee That incompetent Tymon could : should have had a red for causing his hands Also missed a clear handball by Zan which could have led to a goal Bugger it Three points

What a surprise you concentrating on the negatives after a much needed win 🤷

That's last week mate they were very poor today. Continually shirt pulling and pushing and allowed to get away with it. No real skill, relying on long range shots and long throws. Hopefully we will get another 3 points on Tuesday but the centre of our defence needs improving. The 17,300 attendance surprised me as it didn't look that full.

It was a typical Gary Rowett team performance , I said before the game he’d have them niggling and using all the cynical fouls and tricks trying to stop us playing and that’s exactly what they tried to do ,his tactics have been the same everywhere he’s been , we didn’t succumb and got a great 3 points

yet so many were purring of us under Sheehan defending him despite his only wins being against very poor sides The question which cannot be answered is would we have got this result under Sheehan? In fairness to Matos he has only had 11 days to work with the squad, and amongst those days as had 2 games before todays There are positive signs ,the players seem to be playing with.more desire there are visible signs if patterns of play which have been worked on in training time will tell and we have 27 games yet to improve.

Today's win will give the players confidence, win on Tuesday and confidence will be up another level, don't underestimate its importance.

Totally agree....confidence is a huge factor and I belueve Matos is a coach who instills that Today he could be seen applauding players who trued postive attacking play or passes which didnt quite come off [Post edited 6 Dec 19:34]

| Matos on 19:44 - Dec 6 with 526 views | jack247 | Still very early days, but we looked a different team today. Wingers much further up the field and both played better than they usually do. Aggressive high press Getting players in the box in numbers when we were going forward Fluent, passing counterattacking moves with purpose (not too often, but we looked dangerous when they did). Hit the wall a bit in the second half and I’m still not sure of the logic in those substitutions, but we looked a long way from a Sheehan or Williams team. That’s some achievement in less than two weeks and without his own staff. | | | |
| Matos on 19:55 - Dec 6 with 483 views | OptimisticJack | Excellent performance today. Pleased for Matos and the players. I've been saying all along we have been a team low on confidence. A win makes all the difference. Onwards and upwards. | |

| Matos on 20:30 - Dec 6 with 405 views | Dr_Winston | I think, what I like so far, is that he's called it the same way as many of us see it. Like the references in his post match today about doing things better later in the game after we did become very ragged for a while. There's been no bullshit sugar coating. Early days of course, and we do need to get him his preferred coaching staff as soon as possible, but I'm intrigued as to how he'll do with a bit of time and breathing space. Next Tuesday a biggie. Another win should hopefully widen the gap between us and the bottom three and give the squad a confidence boost. They have to believe that they can win. | |
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
