In the summer message from the co-chairs, they mention Tyjon alongside Mane as two players who left due to the academy closing down.
'Under youth development rules, we were not permitted to offer scholarship contracts to players in their U16 year during the 2023/24 season. Amongst others, this group included two youth internationals in Igor Tyjon and Mateus Mane. Contingent fees associated with the latter have already proved lucrative, with the potential of more to come.'
So Mane is definitely earning us money, and we may hopefully still get a sell-on if he leaves before the end of the transfer window as I know there was some interest at some point. Tyjon being mentioned in the same breath makes it seem like the same is true of him, so we might end up seeing some of this and any other future sell on. |  |
