Barton is the second best centre mdifielder we have in the squad - but that's not saying much...
Derry has a better attitude and Buz has better technical ability but Barton has been more effective than them when on his game, especially in a 4-4-2.
We need to sign at least 2 centre mids this summer anyway with Faurlin coming back from injury, Barton's long ban looming and Buz not resigned yet. | | | |

Not sure he is - Diakite, Faurlin then Barton and overall last season him and Derry were pretty tough to divide in terms of the performances they put in. |  |

Exactly this. He can certainly play...he's a great plalyer and his workrate is brilliant. Just getting totally bored of the Joey Barton show plus 10 other supporting players, just one team with a common purpose is what we need to progress.

Barton is a good tackler, but his pass completion is very poor and when he insisted on taking free kicks and corners they were some of the worst I have seen from a QPR player. Apart from that he's a despicable thug who I never want to see in a QPR shirt again. |  |
