10 worst things about our impending relegation... 14:41 - Feb 6 with 4856 viewsAntti_Heinola

We're down, so don't bother having a go for me being negative.

10. Friday night games. Awful.
9. Possibility of having to go to Griffin freakin' Park.
8. Bye bye Julio.
7. Steve Claridge will have opinions on us again.
6. Garry Birtles will co-commentate on our games again. FFS.
5. Whenever we win a game on TV (unlikely) or score a goal, some commentator will say those meaningless words 'Premier League quality'.
4. That cr@p font on the back of our shirts again.
3. Interminable rows about Warnock/Holloway when we play Leeds/Palace.
2. More points dropped at Forest, no matter how sh!t they are.
1. All our old ex-players will come back to score goals against us.

Bare bones.

And by the same token what I won't miss is people shouting down anybody who says "we've only won two matches all season, we're unlikely to win seven of the last 13" with "BE POSI'IVE" "NOT A PWOPAH FAN" "DO THE MAFFS".

Ha Ha I kind of agree but you were Doctor Doom last season and we survived. Given that, things are a lot more desperate this time round.

I haven't actually said we'll go down this season, just that it's highly likely we will. Last year I couldn't see us getting out and it taught me that miracles happen occasionally so I've steered clear of "we're definitely down" this time around - though like I say this "you gotta be positive until it's mathematically impossible or you're not a proper fan" bullsht is doing my head in. We are, basically, fcked. It's ok to admit it.

If Blades go up (they're f'cuking it up) and Forest and Leeds stay in the Champ (as they look like doing) the banter between my uni mates and I will reach tropospheric levels last seen in season in 2010/11.

Seriously though, its more fun down there.

Not a chance in hell. He simply doesn't fit in with the owners' aims for this club.

Besides, he's sh*t.

Just an update on the money side of things

CURRENT parachute £s =

Yr 1 £15M
Yr 2 £15M
Yr 3 £7.5M
Yr 4 £7.5M

Bit of a bun fight still on going but Premier League want these to be as follows from next season

Yr 1 £21M
Yr 2 £21M
Yr 3 £10.5M
Yr 4 £10.5M

Its not on a par if you do decently in the top league but its a far cry from the armegeddon some are predicting.

1: The thought that impending relegation doesn't hurt like it once would have.

2: Any correspondence from the Club asking for loyalty.
They had my loyalty and decided to use it to try and fleece me. They won't get a second chance.
£25 Silver seat in the Prem, or £20 in the Championship.
No?...........simples.....stick your prices up your arse.

3: The Flavster and the boy Bernie laughing their c.ocks off.

4: Still trying to track down the boy Nico who had it away on his toes with my dough.

5: Thinking about Mark Hughes.

6,7,8 and 9 are all positive.

10: Knowing I'll never see the like of Cab Calloway again.

Crowds of 13,000 or less
Entering the cups and being knocked out even earlier
Numerous posters moaning about how we should be romping the league and winning every game

Positives

We may win more than we lose
The standard is pretty decent
Still lots of big teams to play
New home and away kit

Poll: Are we staying up?

I'm not giving up until it's mathematically impossible either FFS, I'm just saying that I recognise we're quite unlikely to get out of this mess and there's nothing wrong with admitting that.

Oh....THAT game against Crewe....to this day I've never seen anything like that refereeing performance. Remember that bloke running in the pitch to have a go at him and against all my better judgements wishing he'd murder the useless twunt!!!

Oh man, I had forgotten about him, he's appalling.

We might also get Trevor Kettle again. Bad scene....

We will be in the championship for an awful long time. We were promoted due to squad unity, fight, determination, Adel. Everyone played a part, even Paddy. If you remove one of those elements then we probably wouldn't have been promoted.

When we are relegated, we will likely have to find a new manager, and sign yet more players. There are already numerous reports of disharmony and Adel will leave as he is far to good for us. Ultimately this means it could be another 15 years before we're promoted again.

The other bad thing which I don't think has been mentioned thus far is the fact that the season is i n t e r m i n a b l e.

On and on it drags. You can have a great first ten games but whilst that might more or less assure you of safety, there are another 36 (man alive, 36!) games to go still so the quest for promotion has hardly even begun.

Barring miracles - a run like Wigan and Newcastle's, when they swept all before them - you will go through umpteen "phases" over that long, long season. Good runs, bad runs, a stack of back to back draws. Pure joy. Ugh.

I've seen us in the Premiership, the Championship, Division1, Divsion 2, at Wembley, in Denmark, in the simod cup, the Anglo Italian Cup. I've seen twunts own us, manage us and play for us - but its been my choice. I don't care what fuc3in divsion we are in, or which tv tw@t talks about us - QPR is my team and always will be.

look for the positives - you might enjoy life a little more and live a little longer.

We're not dead yet but there was only one Lazarus (in a biblical sense) and he rose at Man City last year.

The odds of doing it twice are still better than winning Euro millions however.

Please keep this post to roll out next season if we are in the Championship when anybody declares a game in November to be a 'must win' or a run of five without a win to be 'season over'.
