Simon Gauge has just shared his TVOS commentary on Twitter this morning.
Its easy to get lost up in the emotion of what has been going on in 2021, but when you stand back and look at it the work that has gone in to get us to this point is immense. I genuinely feel the future is exciting now for the club, led by a strong board who stood firm (when most others would've backed away) and supported by a Trust who have been a role model organisation in what a supporters trust can achieve.

Simon is so modestly unassuming, wholly approachable and responsive but comes with a steely determination and a wicked sense of humour. I think he's the offspring of DFK and CD.

We may be in a lower division, but it really feels like we've got our club back. Hopefully, the Bottomley days (which very very nearly wrecked the very existence of our club) are behind us for good, and the new Board will steer us forward in the coming years.
The Trust; ably led by Col & co deserve a big pat on the back as well. They have shown great strength in the face of adversity from some within the club...one especially. | | | |
