I cant believe some of the utter boll*cks about this 'protest'.
If true however how deluded have these so called Rochdale supporters become.
Do they not realise that if we finished 5th from bottom then it would be an achievement in what is Steve Eyres first season as a professional manager?
Do they not realise that we have a new manager who has lost some of our better players from last season as they follwed Hill to Barnsdale?
We are still new to this league, we need to be established as a league 1 club, our history shows we had been rooted to the bottom of the football league for the last 30 years prior at least to us getting promoted.
If I see anybody protesting expect a big kick off as you should be ashamed to call yourselves fans of this football club.
We are working class people, we believe and thrive for that, we live in a town thats destroyed by the attitudes of people that are bone idle and blame the world for there own downfall.
His CV speaks for itself, who he has developed etc, his knowledge of football and his great work ethic, he clearly has what it takes and is going to prove what a fantastic football coach and manager he is.
We have signed some high profile quality young players who in the past would have joined other teams for bigger wages, however this young calibre of player has come to Spotland as they also believe in Steve Eyre and know he will develop them.
We are on the up with Steve Eyre, he is the right man to take Rochdale Football Club forward.
Get behind the manager, he has had a great start to his managerial career and we should appreciate the fact we have a manager that lives for football and isnt as self centred as many of the people in the game.
Its time we pull together as TEAM ROCHDALE and support the manager all the way.
