Found out last night that one of my friends used to play for Accrington under John Coleman. He was only reserve/youth. Apparently JC watched the reserves if some of the first team were involved and give a half time team-talk.
I won't go into details but I certainly suspect that any players lacking effort, passion and enthusiasm will not be Dale players for too long. |  |

As soon as Coleman was mentioned, I cast my mind back to the promotion season when Accy turned us over 2-1 at Spotland.
They were struggling with injuries, we were on good form, and we were a much better side. Without Gary Jones we struggled and despite playing the better football, we were outfought by an incredibly committed and determined Accy side.
