We have an excellent away record but average home record. If we could improve our home record and performances, to match that of our away record and performances, not only would we be doing even better position wise, but we would attract and keep new supporters.

We had a shit 2014, but the green shoots of recovery are more and more evident. Shame we've lost Cole though, his pace was a real asset.

The figures for attendances throughout 2014 were uplifting. The 16th best supported club in the FL. Not bad that for a small club who lose nearly 40% of their games. A small L1 club now, hovering above another relegation zone. Yet only two clubs take more fans to away games on average, and they're 1st and 6th.

Our supporters deserve much better. We don't expect the world, just to win more often and doing so in an attractive manner.

Happy New Year to all at Spotland, and may 2015 treat you well.
