MORTON HOUSE / Faical Safouane - A Payroll entrepreneur or Argos Store manager? 22:01 - Nov 10 with 5932 viewsRAFCBLUE

The problem with unusual names is that different people spell them slightly differently.

Take Faical Safouane. This budding payroll entrepreneur can't be found if you look high or low across the south of England. Odd really as Morton House had a really good year in the year to July 2021 and made a huge profit despite a global pandemic. Faical is its legal owner now.

But Faical's not registered on an electoral roll.

You also can't find Faical or Morton House on any social media site promoting their excellent payroll services.

If you go to Morton House's rented Regus Head Office (New London House, 6 London Street, London, England, EC3R 7LP) and ask if they know him they will tell you that they have never heard of him.

Yet, on Companies House in the public domain Faical has a residential address. A rented flat in Slough, Berkshire. The address is Flat 3 Eton Walk, 2 Upton Park, Slough, United Kingdom, SL1 2DP and that's his correspondence address for Coleman Management Services Limited, his second enterprise with glamorous granny Denise Valarie Courtnell.

https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/officers/DtHqOy4EEitg

You'll never guess what!

It turns out that "Faical" can be spelt "Faisal". Easy enough to change just one letter in the real name and get a completely different name to protect the real name as an alias.

If you look for Faisal Safouane, there is only one in the UK that shows up on any kind of platform. Literally only one.

This Faisal also has the same January 1984 birth month as Faical. Spooky!

This Faisal is Store Manager of Argos Hounslow. If you ring Argos Hounslow they will put you through to him! He's not that keen though to answer questions on the EFL investigation, Morton House and will put the phone down. Perhaps he is shy.

Has everyone's favourite payroll firm just lost its CEO and owner to Argos?

Or is Faisal moonlighting from Denise Valarie Courtnell, Andrew Curran and Darrell Rose's payroll company and they don't know it yet.

To be fair to him, Hounslow is a good bit nearer that rented flat in Slough where Coleman Management Services Limited operates from than the rented Regus office near Fenchurch Street. Perhaps Faical/Faisal wanted to work closer to home!

I'd expect a hasty change of his director's address for Coleman Management Services Limited. Keep an eye out for that.

A quick look on Faisal's LinkedIn account suggests a certain Mark Farrugia under the 'people also viewed' section. I'm sure that's a name that's popped up on here before and indeed, Mark's Twitter account is largely him having a go at anyone besmirching the good name of one Taylor Curran.

The evidence is piling up!

As already mentioned above - he is linked to Mark Farrugia on LinkedIn. Farrugia has clear and evident links to Andrew Curran.

Its worth pointing out (for legal reasons) this guy may be nothing at all to do with Morton House - but the name / location / birthday / contacts all add up.

We have contacted Sainsburys / Argos to inform them of these findings - we're sure they would want to know if Faisal / Faical is tied up in all this (as most companies have pretty strict codes of conduct now!) - and if it isn't him they may want to support him if its a case of identity theft.

Its entirely possible to list people as Directors without them ever knowing anything about it, all the correspondence goes to Companies House from the company appointing the Director. There is no direct correspondence between the "Director" and CH. So Faical may not know anything about being a Director.
Maybe 3 Eton Walk is a rental and someone used his slightly altered name to fill in the CH forms? After all it must be difficult thinking up new names for Directors of all these companies.... So who owns the flat in Eton Walk?

Flat 3 Eton Walk, 2 Upton Park, Slough, United Kingdom, SL1 2DP is listed by the Land Registry as being owned by someone independent with a buy-to-let mortgage secured on the property.

The point you make on people being appointed as Directors without their knowledge but as some kind of fraud is a common one. However in this case, I don't think it's an accident as both Faical Safouane and Denise Valarie Courtnell are directors of two separate companies - Morton House and Coleman Management Services Limited.

It would be highly unusual to have that level of crossover with such common directors for it to be accidental or inadvertent.

As I said in a previous post, keep an eye on that Flat 3 address changing at Companies House soon.

Would I be right in thinking buy to let properties are a good way of laundering money.

I have a BTL and tbh, no. In our case, our estate agent, solicitor and lender all needed verification of identity and us to pass anti-laundering questions. I'm sure there's less scrupulous ones out there though.

Was thinking more the properties being used to clean cash being used for rent payment.

Property is purchased legitimately. But then rented out to associates and the landlord provides the tenant cash to cover the rent not substantial number of properties would facilitate the laundering of a fairly substantial amount of cash.

Andy Curran's Mum's Maiden Name Management Services (Coleman Management Services for short) have just filed their annual confirmation statement (backdated to 9th October).

It'll be interesting to see what else is filed in the coming days.

In the modern world, probably the worst way. Highly regulated and as others have said, the banks/solicitor/estate agent all have responsibility in law to prevent money laundering.

No - what you need is a cash based business that has a large in and outflow a every year but makes very little money. Then under the cover of that business you can hide transactions.

The digital leaking of Alexander Jarvis strikes again!

Faical Safouane:
F.Safouane@mortonhousecs.com

If you give him the catalogue number, he will go to the back to get your purchase.....

Got to wonder with Jarvis whether eventually, he will get to the point where he turns off all his IT devices or changes them and all the passwords.
