Our squad and team looks better now than at any time this season. We weren't all looking to just one or two players to perform. Players wanting the ball, all contributing, all working together. Very good to see. They might as well have ended the match on 65 minutes as it was all over, instead of the ref playing 5 minutes of injury time.

The singing was entertaining too. Everyone getting a song, as they deserved. Sticking it to Sky and the establishment. Well done Saints fans!

If it was one of our players who complained to the Board earlier in the season about the then manager, they called it right.

Clearing the decks of unnecessary players also looks to have reinvigorated the squad. Gradually inching towards playoff places.

Comprehensive win. Good performances throughout the side. Thought we were unlucky on Saturday but tonight we got the run of the ball and took full advantage.

One of our best performances of the season. The team looked solid and created chances throughout the 90 mins, our levels didn’t really drop at all and we finished very strong of course. Should have had more goals. Hull were good going forward but not so good at defending (I wasn’t sorry to see their number 13 go off!)

I have quite a few players on 7 in a good team performance. MOM for me was Vale.

Sort of sums it up really well are no better and no worse than most of the teams in this division. Neat and tidy with very little cutting edge. Still don’t think Tonda gets his subs right. Charles and Stewart were playing well keep them on. Play 2 up top if you are really trying to win. Bree was excellent

Should have won 3-0. Unlucky in front of goal. Played some good football but a frustrating outcome. Charlton had one chance and took it.

Recent performances caught up today with Dunne, Cook and RND, who were rank, but I’m loathe to criticise them when they cover week after week for the incessantly incompetent wing play.

Saito was appalling again, how he stayed the duration is beyond me. Bennie is raw and not up to this At present. But Smyth came on and committed one stupid foul after another. Kolli did his customary style over substance performance and that hospital pass to Vale I think was unforgivable.

Madsen looked fuming with what went on around him and another hospital pass did for him. As my son mentioned, Vale is either brilliant or hopeless, there is no middle ground.

The 45-60 mins is on our manager, I can’t help think he lacks the charisma needed to gee up the team in a battle.

A good win in a close game. Some solid performances throughout the team.
A deserved win.

A huge gamble to rest 10 players AND have a bench full of youngsters when they rested six. To do both was a step too far for me but it paid off (just). If it had gone to penalties I''ve no idea who would have taken them.

I fear that will be the end of our run though. The next round is the Saturday before the midweek game at WBA and the Saturday morning match at Coventry. I'm sure he'll rotate the team again and I can't see us getting away with it twice.

Still it was great to beat Leicester three times this season (my son in law is a Leicester fan) and it eases the memory of the 0-9. The six points they had deducted was the minimum punishment they could have received.

Good to see the youngsters getting their chance At one time there were 6 under 21s on the field and everyone of them did well We could be in for an exciting future
Archer is now missing sitters on a regular basis With so many good young guns maybe it's time to leave him out of the squad in favour of an u21 player

All over after 30 minutes, we really weren't in it. Lots of players having off days.

Second half complete turnaround. Tonda made some great subs and they turned the game.

Great second half performance from everyone but Matsuki, Stewart and Charles all seized their chance and really took the game to Leicester.

Both Stephens and Manning scored great goals.

Tonda, stop dicking around with Archer. Play a proper centre forward and look what happens. The come back was awesome but somehow even sweeter that it was against Leicester.

Wow! How do you score that in player ratings?

Dead and buried at half-time with a woeful performance but an amazing second half and a deserved win.
