| Blog | How about that start? at 07:05 21 Aug 2014
In a hugely interesting turn of events, who would've thought that little ol' Swansea City could pull down the huge charade that is the almighty Manchester United? I spent Saturday afternoon sat in a little bar in Rhodes watching the match with my old man, the two of us trying desperately to not rile up the Man U fans that surrounded us after Gylfi slotted home the victory for the Swans. What an incredible start to the season that was, but we all know that those beautiful three points will mean nothing if we don't beat Burnley, or even West Brom the week after. |

Everyone in Europe is currently ripping the nails from their fingers in desperate anticipation for the beginning of the new season ahead, however I'm sure that none are more so than Garry Monk. Let's be honest, as soon as he guided the boys in the win against Cardiff for his managerial debut, his job was all but certain for this coming season; and however successful (or unsuccessful) the centre half turned manager is this season, he will go down in the history books for the Swans. But now the real test begins and I for one can't wait to see how the Swansea story develops over the next twelve months. |
| Blog | This whole transfer malarkey at 07:43 22 Jul 2014
Like a lot of Swans fans, I've spent much of this summer hiding from all the transfer rumours circling like vultures around the Liberty. Michu's gone, Pablo is all but gone, I could've cried when I found out about this Ben Davies to Spurs business and now it looks like Vorm's finally joined the queue for the exit door. Funny how we're losing the players we want but don't seem to be able to shift those surplus to requirements. Frustrating right? But we need to look towards the positives of what's going on. |
