The best and long lasting instututions/companies in the world have a succession pathway, All Blacks, Royal acadamy, Cambridge Uni, Rolls Royce etc appoint the future CEO in a more junior role first, or bring them through the ranks. Spanish football has also started doing this. Carsely has all the credentials, knows the players and the system.
Also the English team might need to learn from the all blacks. After falling short in 2 world cups they introduced the "No Dickhead" policy.....it worked and they won the next 2. |

I use to live in southampton but am now in South wales. I get to the odd away game, but always to used to love the commentary. I struggled with the pay wall, but cracked and have listened to three games, Bristol city, Hull and Milwall! should I listen tonight? |

I agree. He is genuinely 2 footed though so can play on both sides. An invaluable asset for Saints. His ball control, tenacity and work rate are superb. |

When the soviet union collapsed Ukraine had the third largest nuclear arsenal in the world, and gave it up on the promise of assured soverignty by Russia and Nato. If they had kept it, this would not be happening. |

LIking this. The high press has seen us fade in the second half and be picked off. Ralph has played a blinder, realising this and setting up us to hold the first half... 'rope a dope' at its very best! |

our game is based on the press, one player nicks the ball, another sweeps it up. Numerous times last night the ball was nicked and Man U swept it up as we were trying to keep a shape. They played a blinder, stuffed their full backs into the final third and then ripped us apart with superalitive finishing. They only had 4 more shots than we had against Villa. The finishing and dive from Martial was world class.
Ramsay looks like he might have something about him and Stu played well! grasping at straws.
At least it is Newcastle next. |

I cant watch, had to switch of TV and walk away. First time in my life and that includes the infamous one. several of our lads are having stormers, but I worry for even more injuries. |

This is an arm wrestle between 2 good teams, we are playing well, we can get something out of this. Agree about Smallbone, he is looking really good. The one touch distribution by JWP has been brilliant a couple of times. It will probably be someone like armstong who bales us out. Come on Saints.......God I wish I was there. |

The Zoe covid app showed the first wave peaked at around 1million people being infected in the first week of april. I was one of them. Now Zoe's figure is 806k, but the ONS is saying it is 1.2m and rising. This new strain seems not to be controlled by lockdown. The vaccine cant come soon enough.
in my little hamlet in the black mountains 5 of the 9 households have had covid. 3 in the first wave, 1 in the summer and 1 in Oct. So far the old farmer and the lovely old woman who has lived her all her life have escaped it and are due to be jabbed this month. A farmers wife up the valley died in the first wave, and a good friends 70yr old dad is currently on life support for the 2nd time. He was touch or go for 5 days just before christmas got better was sent to a recovery hospital but in the last week it has all gone horribly wrong and he back in the royal Gwent |

End of season. When he came he promised 2-3 years. We are a stepping stone. Lets enjoy it while it lasts.
We will have bids, they are showcasing themselves. No-one is going to come in with VVD money for anyone in the team, so we are big enough to hold players until the summer at least. Loss of Ralph could trigger an exodus.
We seem to be getting a lot of games on TV and our form and style of play will add more so income should be OK. |
