Read my original posting. I only mentioned Spurs away. Yes no doubt over the two ties we made a nice profit. No doubt similar with the Newcastle tie. At no time did I denigrate the competition like you suggest. |

Denigrate it? From where you coming? Now you have introduced the Dale home tie into the equation. I never mentioned that. I simply stated that I was told that the cost of putting on the Spurs game at Wembley Stadium, security costs etc were greater than the gate receipts. |

FA Cup gate receipts are apportioned after the deduction of match costs, with each club receiving 45% of the net receipts and the remaining 10% going to the Football Association (The FA).
