Agreed. On form at least 3 of those 4 will be nailed on to start and we'll struggle to bring in the same quality to replace them. We need a smaller squad than last season as we have no European football but we need to be losing the fringe players (Canas, Pozuelo, Ki) not first team players.
Keep Bony, add De Guzman and Gylfi and I'd be OK with Pablo and Michu moving on. Losing those two without agreements in place for reinforcements leaves me concerned, even without losing our main source of goals |

Sky Sports Transfer Centre this morning: "We are hearing Liverpool are in advanced talks with Swansea over a move for striker Wilfried Bony. Liverpool have targeted a move for Bony as they prepare to lose Luis Suarez and the Ivory Coast international is thought to be keen on a move to Anfield. Bony's agent is believed to be in talks with Liverpool officials as they aim to close a deal for the player."
If this happens, it moves me firmly from believing it'll be a good summer to having major concerns for next season. Even at £30 million. |

Beck is a genius idea. Gamesmanship such as the tactical repositioning of the away team dugout, ensuring the grass around the corner area is longer so as to slow the ball down when played in that part of the pitch, and the practice of throwing buckets of cold water over players before a match, is just what we need to move to the next level. He'd certainly recommend a Plan B for us if we were stuck. |
