Wettest I've ever been, was an internal issue. Bristol City away, maybe 1978, so drunk that upon entering the ground I fell asleep on the terracing. [Post edited 2 Jan 21:35]

While I enjoy any win, there are some I appreciate a little more than others, Watford fits into that category. Although I only knew a couple of their fans when at school, and never saw any around Wembley, I didn't have to travel far up the line to start spotting the occasional scarfer. Maybe that little bit of proximity, or years ago after their bigging it and subsequent surprise at our numbers and taking over the town when we did play 'em after going down, also stuck in my head.
And Troy Deeney.

Well, I went to a Brighton away game by coach a few years back (lost 3-0) and we pulled into their car park.
There is a train station a few minutes' walk from the ground. |
