What a crassly stupid thing to say. I’m sure we all have friends who voted for or against and I’m pretty damn sure that those friends who voted out were neither racist or stupid or cvnts - well, maybe the Pompey ones were, but they were already stupid cvnts for being in the Blue Few. |

I am in NYC quite often, but am UK based and you can pay to get in the Marathon. I think something like 5% of participants are Brits - which includes some of the Blue Few. As I said, when I’ve done it there were more Saints than Skates and it’s quite surreal to be running through Harlem exchanging insults with one of the fishy few! |

Hi Ninj - I may (or may not) be on your side in this debate but calling H a tvvat doesn’t really help.
I have to say though, quite how Islam helps women’s and gay (let alone canine) rights mystifies me - I’d just appreciate a cogent discussion. |

I disagree. We have had a good record of 'reclaiming' players. It might be in the dim and distant, but Micky Channon, Graham Baker, Alan Ball and Kevin Davies were all good/great re-recruits.
More recently, with Dibling we made a net gain.
Ok, Lallana and Walcott maybe not, but overall we've done ok. |

He may have been from Southampton and played well for us, but that doesn’t make him a Saints Legend. I met him and had a good chat and he seemed a nice guy, but he was a Spurs fan through and through.
A very good player for us, but clearly a Tottenham legend and I’d say not really in the Pantheon of Saints….
All the same, RIP. |

I spent some time with the News International legal team when he was up before the beak; let’s just say he’s an interesting “character”…
