Let's be honest we have been a league one club punching above our weight for a long time now.
A Dilapidated, aging stadium with little room to add additional revenue streams, cramped seating and poor facilities.
Overall poor player recruitment and coaching set up.
Yes, a decent training facility but that was a long time in the making.
We've been battling with relegation almost every season for the last decade.
Yes, we'd be one of the bigger league 1 clubs but on paper so are Charlton!
I think I'm resigned to us going down this season. Then being a League one club for a period of time.
The really sad thing is when you look at where Fulham, Brentford, Bournemouth and Brighton were and are now it's a huge reality check on just how poorly our club has been run. [Post edited 10 Nov 8:59]

Absolutely nailed this Clive.
Gaps all over the squad. I dont believe Mati isnt smart enough to have seen this and challenged it over the summer.
Feels like he is waiting to be sacked.
I am hopeful we can scrape a few points and still be within touching distance come Jan. 3/4 championship level signings / loans and we may have a chance. Sadly, that would probbaly mean shifting Chair on to do so. Who doenst look fit at all btw. |

Madsen must be the only 6'4 midfielder I have seen who has zero presence. Nothing. Doesnt get stuck in, doesnt put it about, isnt dominant in the air. So disappointing.
Celar, would love t o see his distance covered stats v Frey and most other Championship strikers. Even when the balls been in the box, he still isnt clinical.
Santos - one of the worst displays I have ever seen by a full back at Rangers. Watch him for their second goal. Embarrassing. Before anyone mentions he's a right back, he was useless there too and got skinned most weeks. Had a one game cameo but thats it. Looks league 2 standard.
Marti needs to take some stick too. Tactically we looked inept and all over the shop with no game plan.
Whoever though going into the season with 2 strikers needs their head examining. Especially when both were unknown quantities. |

He's had 30 minutes during that period when he hasn't looked like a Sunday league pub player.
Regardless of what position is playing in, he is supposed to be a professional footballer. |
