Virtually all of them actually. Looking through my wardrobe, the only ones that didn't have stripes of some sort were the 1985 all red with black and white shoulders (in our centenary year too!) and of course the recent sash. At least the sash had some vague historical connection. A year on and the club have shown a total disregard for that same history. Is there a Facebook campaign started yet to get this hideous thing changed? |

Someone please wake me up and tell me this has all been a terrible nightmare. A complete disregard for our history. Disgusting. Paid 625 quid this week to watch a team that won't even look like my team. I've got every home shirt since 1980, but I won't be bothering with this sh*te. Rant over.

Awesome song. We should run out to this surely. Lead singer Fred was from Soton. They supported Carter USM and Carter liked them so much they put the Family Cat's version of 'Lean on me I won't fall over' on the B-side of one of their own singles. I think Steamroller is one of Steve Lamacq's all-time favourite songs. |

Maybe it's your lot's so-called 'passion' that is actually the root of all your problems. Let's face it, most of your lot's numerous owners have been lured to Pompey by this 'passion', but what you really need is an owner with a decent business plan and some actual money, rather than some tinpot nobody who gets excited by the thought of a few dozen chanting muppets and a scarecrow waving his fecking bell for half an hour after the final whistle. |
