I’d see it more, they go 2 up and relax a bit. We then score one and they step up. Look at how games panned out after we scored. |

We can moan about him not passing forwards but last 2 games have shown how important it is for us to have Varane in that holding /defensive role in front of the back 4. The best performances that I have watched this season have been with him in it and I’d say the worst have been with him not in side. |

The most annoying thing for me is Morrison not playing and to a lesser extent Madsen. We are not playing great and we’re in poor form. We may as well then give game time to players that are our players and players that most definitely need game time. I don’t understand it. Marti has been brilliant for us, but that is 100% on him. |

I think you need to have a player like that in the side. I think we need to look for the players round to him to bring more to our attacking play. Varane’s job is to be the defensive shield. |

Well to start with Hitler and Stalin had a pact and decided to carve up Poland. So, Russia sided with Hitler. Poland lost 1/5 of its entire population either on battlefield against Nazis and Soviets, or in the Gas Chambers or just massacred, or one time while the “red army” decided to halt for a bit while they let the Nazis “deal” with the Poles in the Warsaw uprising. The Soviets than made Poland a state of the Soviet Union. Stalin and Hitler, just different sides to the same coin. |

First they came for Ukraine but I did not speak up because I wasn’t a Ukrainian…… |

Ok, I didn’t realize Armstrong and Dykes was that much. But what you say does make sense. I would add that Dembele must be in the 4.3m outflow as he became permanent in 2024 before firing accounts. It’s odd that Dembele isn’t mentioned though. The contingent part is confusing but also important because if say Dykes and Armstrong were 1m combined now and rest was contingent on eg promotion, then 5.3m doesn’t sound so bad. Someone has probably asked this, but can you ask what the FFP estimated headroom is? Thanks I’m over-simplifying because I always look at cash but seems that we’ve gone from 32m outflow before shareholders put up cash in prior year to 18m. That’s a significant improvement. Staff down by 13 but imagine that will be even lower given departures in summer. |

How do you get to £9m? The post balance sheet note says net outflow of 4.3m? And the contingent part (I guess Dembele…maybe Saito?) was 1.66m? The only players we got money in from were Dykes and Armstrong based on the same note. I would imagine there must be some contingent payment for Armstrong. |

Time wasting? We do time waste in games, no doubt about that. But last night? I guess you are talking about when Nardi went down injured towards the end. That’s not time wasting in my view, that’s just taking the “sting” out of the game. We were under pressure, they had some real physicality up front and we had been struggling for 5 minutes. I’m pretty certain he just went down so team could reset and get back in position and discuss how we get ball forward more and combat the subs. If our aim was to time waste, why didn’t we just keep ball in corner in 92nd minute? |
 | Forum Reply | QPR v Fat Frank's Lady Godìva first eleven match thread at 07:04 12 Feb 2025
Were we really the better team before the subs? They had 2-3 great chances and a very borderline offside goal. We had some good positions and 1 excellent chance for Frey. You take Colback off and you’re left with 2 defensive midfielders who aren’t the best at moving the team forward. That said , I’m not sure Morgan for Colback would have been my choice. Varane and Field were fine together, we didn’t lose the battle. Saito was our best attacking threat, so when he went off we lost a lot. Smyth also much better than Yang. That said we still They were also a constant threat from every corner they had. As for Nardi going down injured….he’s just doing that to take the “sting” out of the game. He’s not trying to waste time. We were under a bit of pressure. Go down, let defence and midfield reset and calm. We then had moments after where we were the ones trying to win it. There’s no doubt in my mind that we were going for 3 points throughout. |

I think if the prosecution lose then we pay but I think if they win, then the defendant (Kerr / Chelsea) would have to pay all costs. |

Changed to “Game on”. We’re here without Chair on form. He just starting to get fitness and form. And combined with that we’ve got Dembele back, who looked good earlier in season. |

Ok. I think it’s more a difference of opinion that I am right and you are wrong OR you are right and I am wrong. |

I don’t believe there is a racial hierarchy in the UK today or Australia when she grew up. She’s using race, being drunk and Sarah Everard to justify her actions. She needs to grow up. Pretty insulting to Sarah Everards family too. But we will never agree on this so let’s leave it there. |
 | Forum Reply | Sam Kerr on trial at 09:28 7 Feb 2025
Yes in history there has been racial hierarchies. I said that. But there’s a big difference between living in 19th century US as a black woman or 1940s Germany as a Jewish woman, to an Indian/black woman born in 1990s in Perth and living in the UK in 2025. Like her use of Sarah Everard case, or the fact she was drunk, it’s just her not accepting responsibility for her actions. |
 | Forum Reply | Sam Kerr on trial at 19:35 6 Feb 2025
Exactly. She’s 31 and about to become a mum. She’s not 15. Take responsibility and admit you did wrong and grow up. It’s no one else’s fault. [Post edited 6 Feb 19:57]

Saying both should he equally bad. There shouldn’t be a hierarchy of racism. Having a race hierarchy is what Hitler did. Racism is racism. |

On JCS and Chair being unavailable I meant that, the clearest signal that our recruitment is working is that arguably our 2 best players from last season have for the most part been missing and yet we sit with 41 points today. Also, we may be over-relying on stats but I thought to say we “you can’t only look at data” isn’t right. Of course you can’t only look at date but I don’t believe we are or were doing that. But even the stats about Madsen raised alarms…..big lad who isn’t that good in the air and not physical. I would say it’s just a bad decision rather than our recruitment method isn’t working. Clubs all make bad signings and this looks like being one. On the experience side, we had experience in the squad and didn’t need more. Cook, Fox, Colback, Dunne. And to some extent Chair! We’ve got a young CEO and he’s making mistakes (as does everyone) but he’s learning from them in my view. |
 | Forum Reply | Madsen at 22:37 5 Feb 2025
How do you know it was all data? I think given we’ve had no JCS and no chair for most of season, our recruitment has been decent. |
