Yesterday’s news was tragic on a personal level, my condolences to all those who new Markus in person.
My grief over Markus’ death is not the same as if he had been a close friend mine. However it has struck with me a sense of sadness, that is seperate from worries over what the consequences may be for the future of Saints.
I was proud that Markus was the Chairman of SFC, as I am sure that most every fan of our club was. I was proud because our Chairman appeared to be a dedicated, private, hard-working, intelligent, good person. |

Comment | The Squad IS Strong Enough !

I wouldn't swap Saints current squad for any other in the division; so yeah can't really argue to much with the jist of this article.
However at the moment we remain at the whim of the fates and the vagaries of injuries. Our squad is to thin to justify the outrageously short odds given. Two, or three additions, in certain areas could give us the strength to expect success whatever's thrown at us. Currently I think we'll do well if things go well and luck is on our side. |
