Those whose who have a holiday year that runs from April to March and have 28 days holidays and are calculated as 20 days plus bank holidays need to be aware that the were only 6 bank holidays in this years holiay period (2016 -2017). My firm has tried to calculate my holidays this way and are saying that evens out over the years. However you have a statutory entitlement to 28 days leave per holiday period regardless of how many days holiday they gave you the previous year.. In my case I wasnt working for them the previous year |

The is nothing new about this technology
France had had a tidal power station for 50 years
Canada has had one for over 30 year s
The only difference with the tidal lagoon is that the sea wall would be longer, seawalls are ancient technology.
Coincidently France and Canada in that time have only built one each despite plans to build more ( I wonder why?)
The only people who will benefit from this scheme are the developers who will sell at the first opportunity.
Cardiff tidal lagoon will never be built, apart from the much higher environmental protection in that area, it is only being touted to get the subsidiary for Swansea |

This project will not benefit Swansea and could just be a blot on the landscape we are stuck with
It will not produce anywhere near as much electricity as being claimed but it will be very expensive
Too many people are being fooled by the glossy brochures
the tourism and sports facilities are dubious at best |

AsK your bank for a" chargeback" on your card there is no minimum limit and is not part of Section 75.
Tell them that the OFT have told football clubs that they must refund tickets when a game is postponed for television coverage |

The clubs cannot have a no refund policy because it is not in compliance with The Unfair Terms in Consumer Contract Regulations 1999
"We consider that consumers should be entitled to a full refund of prepayments if the event,performer or activity is cancelled, rescheduled, or if there is a material change to the subject matter of the contract, that is, what the consumer has contracted to see, hire or participate in."

Clubs told they must refund tickets when matches postponed
Football clubs have been told that they must offer disappointed fans the option of ticket refunds when matches are postponed because of the weather or television commitments.
The Office of Fair Trading made Tottenham Hotspur remove conditions that "tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged under any circumstances" from its website following complaints from supporters. The consumer watchdog also asked the football associations of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to remind all member clubs to make sure ticketing conditions comply with the law.

he records another person (B) doing a private act,
(b)
he does so with the intention that he or a third person will, for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, look at an image of B doing the act, and
(c)
he knows that B does not consent to his recording the act with that intention.
68 Voyeurism: interpretation
[F1(1)
For the purposes of section 67, a person is doing a private act if the person is in a place which, in the circumstances, would reasonably be expected to provide privacy, and–
(a)
the person’s genitals, buttocks or breasts are exposed or covered only with underwear,
(b)
the person is using a lavatory, or
(c)
the person is doing a sexual act that is not of a kind ordinarily done in public. |

Members of the public and the media do not need a permit to film or photograph in public places and police have no power to stop them filming or photographing incidents or police personnel.
The press and the public
If someone distressed or bereaved asks the police to stop the media recording them, the request can be passed on to the media, but not enforced. |

We encourage officers and the public to be vigilant against terrorism but recognise the importance not only of protecting the public from terrorism but also promoting the freedom of the public and the media to take and publish photographs.
Freedom to photograph and film

Members of the public and the media do not need a permit to film or photograph in public places and police have no power to stop them filming or photographing incidents or police personnel.
Officers do not have the power to delete digital images or destroy film at any point during a search. Deletion or destruction may only take place following seizure if there is a lawful power (such as a court order) that permits such deletion or destruction…
It would ordinarily be unlawful to use section 58A to arrest people photographing police officers in the course of normal policing activities, including protests because there would not normally be grounds for suspecting that the photographs were being taken to provide assistance to a terrorist. An arrest would only be lawful if an arresting officer had a reasonable suspicion that the photographs were being taken in order to provide practical assistance to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism…
Guidelines for MPS staff on dealing with media reporters, press photographers and television crews
There is nothing preventing officers asking questions of an individual who appears to be taking photographs of someone who is or has been a member of Her Majesty’s Forces (HMF), Intelligence Services or a constable so long as this is being done for a lawful purpose and is not being done in a way that prevents, dissuades or inhibits the individual from doing something which is not unlawful….
