Been looking lately at the teams making a late run ( there is always one at least),these are the teams to avoid in the play offs unless thats us , finishing 5/6th looks likely at the moment and i would pit us against any team in a one off situation because we dont know how we are going to play so how the hell are the opposition going to know.Its like the Steve Harmison or Devon Malcolm sindrome they never knew what was coming out of their hand , we dont know whats coming out of the dressing room. |

Maidenhead was pretty poor ,TVOS said tonight this was worse ,im glad tuesdays are an issue for me after a full days work,where does a director of football change the way we play or the intensity / belief in which we play.
His job (i dont really know what his true job is ) is for preparation ? in what ?
For what its worth (not much ) id sack the gaffer and put Henderson in charge till the end of the season,go out on his footballing career in a blaze of glory .(or not but go out fighting)
We are limping to a whimpering end of a non descript season with no or to little entertainment but plenty of money spent. [Post edited 25 Mar 22:25]

I dont actually think there is anybody in the club who knows any better so therefore the status quo will remain ,the results will be what they will be .Thats the joke position we are in as a club ,plenty of cash and no in depth knowledge of running a football club. |

Had plenty of time chatting on the way back with TVOS on the game and now seeing the highlights it to me shows the difference between seeing it on the poor recording and actually in person.
Highlights,
Far far better than saturday even taking into account the "inferior" opposition,passing was much crisper and a better playing surface to keep the ball on the deck (even though it doesnt seem like it on the video).
Belief was in the players body language from minute one which is also a positive after saturday and shows the mental scars are not being dwelled on.
First half we got a bit lucky by being only 1 nil down (waller saved us 2/3 times ,messed up on 1) It happens but im glad it didnt seem to dwell on his mind.
Second half was very interesting indeed and very enjoyable to watch,there is something about a small away following in a small ground when you are up sh-t creak without a paddle and you need a result.
Almost one way traffic BUT somebody built a brick wall about 20 yards out and this is the negative part,we dont look to have that final ball.
Twice in 3 minutes not on the video it opened up 20 yards out middle of the goal and we decided to pass to the wide players ,who does that ?
We cant defend against the the horrible little/big gnarly players that is whats needed to get out of this league ,we cant scrap a result or seem to win the midfield battle that jonah used to do,the list goes on and on.
From what i have seen and im not calling for the gaffers head but i said last night my opinion is this team and style of play will not get us out of this league , we are too lightweight and need to be a bit more like barnet and southend of old ,big rough with pace.
On to season defining saturday at home on the sand pit cabbage patch . |

All day long he has ,pace he hasnt but neither have both of them but he has proven class in front of goal ,give him 20/25 minutes to bust a gut for us .
Dont know the stats about last 15 minute goals with or without him sorry last 5 minutes.
we are 10th and 9th in form stats on flashscore ,guess thats where we will end on current form.
Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result ,we all know Einsteins thoughts on this. [Post edited 19 Feb 22:41]

Do you believe we need the golden share with the Ogdens in charge Judd because i dont ,put a clause somewhere if thy sell it has to happen but i just see them as a way forward and this needs to be shown to them. |

I can understand that sentiment but then why allow the incompetence of the last few months to occur ,it doesnt add up ,why P--s so many home and away fans off when it was so easy just to explain the circumstances whether you agreed with them or not. |

A figure head of a football club not making decisions and doesnt seem to like fans ,well thats going to end well.
Seems to me the Ogdens are going to have to sort a few things out sooner rather than later. |
