I make this man correct

Seen far too much to ever make me set foot on any African camel carrier.

The whole continent should be banned from flying anything other that paper planes.

The aircraft, the crew, the food, the airports they fly to.... All of it... Absolutely woeful

Hard not to get in the top 5 with lot - dear god.

Jose to get the sack for not winning the PL then this year? Moyes for not retaining the title? Pelegrini for not winning the CL ?

That arguements daft. Tell me how well AVB done since Arry left? Top 4? Na. Sacked within 18 months, and I know plenty of spurs fans who would want him back.

Look, some of the games this year, even Ive walked away scratching my head (Charlton away & Sheff Wed away) but I'm not going to start saying HR dont know what he's doing. Who am I to criticise him?

I don't know what your line of work is, but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't criticise me if I made a mistake at work as you wouldn't have the foggiest how to do my job, and likewise I wouldn't criticise you on your job, so why is it ok to criticise HR, when none of you have ever been a pro football manager?

Yet for 30 years people "inside" the game have not thought so, yet you seem to know more than them?

I suppose Levy was right getting shot, as he must have thought the same as you. Look how well spuds have kicked on.

Too many no it alls on here, who in fact no nothing.

None have been employed in pro football, yet all seem experts on what it takes. Fact is HR knows more than this whole board when it comes to management. If your talking about managing a bank, or being a mechanic then I'm sure some of you will in deed know more than Arry, but when it comes to football, you don't. That's a fact, and that's why your not sitting in the dug out instead of him.

Sorry, didnt mean to come across rude, but it just gets my back up. The attitude of the fans is clearly effecting the performances.

So you'd be happy with a young team playing nice flowing football, yet be 20th in the league?

Sorry but I just don't buy into that. It's a sport, and you play to win. Our goal this season was promotion, and were on course for it albeit through the play offs.

I don't get why people are so disgusted. Do you think the scum up the road wanted RDM out for the negative boring tactics used to win the CL ?

Who else shall we blame? What for being 3rd? For Christ sake man take a step back and look at the whole picture

It's like reading a Man United forum, where all these deluded muppets think they have a divine right to be top, due to wages.

Let me ask this. All these references to young hungry players. Could it possibly be that maybe they're not as hungry as what the outside world thinks? Or maybe barring 1 player in league 1 they're possibly not good enough?

And it's almost conveniently forgotten that HR signed Simpson, Austin, Phillips, Carroll, Morrison (albeit the last 2 on load) are these guys not young enough or are they not hungry enough?

It's just a pathetic excuse

One of the most valid points I've read, and I've tried to suggest this many times.

Ever since we got promoted we've been rushing things due to sackings and bad timings of take overs

Tango & Cash sell up, and it's a last minute scramble to get new players in once TF has taken over.

First transfer window and NW gets the Bullit.

New manager and a late scramble for new players

Stay up and sign loads of old has beens.

Next window MH sacked, new manager in and a race for new players.

After relegation from the prem we had a chance to build a team, and the first half of the season we had part achieved that. We've had some shocking injuries, and our slide in form has stemmed from that.

If people get their way, HR will go, and it will be the same again. More new players, more uncertainty .

We need stability with a long term plan, but that's never going to possible with us, due to the moaning nature of our fans. Managing & owning QPR is impossible as we seem to think we're bigger & better than what we are

So why was everything doom & gloom pre season with people talking of relegation ala wolves?

Opinions have changed due to the good start.

For me, 3rd place is well above what I expected, as wages don't win matches

And what would you do if we finished mid table?

Who should we sack then?

Back to TFs fault I guess? Maybe PB as he's not a football man?

What's brown paper bags got to do with our situation?

Stan Bowles & Jim Gregory exchanged more envelopes than Royal Mail, yet that never seemed to be a problem?

Easy way out. Blame the manager.

Out of the teams relegated last year, we've done the best so far. Sack the manager. People harping on about how strong Wigan are. 4 points off them this season. Sack the manager. Before the season started people jumping on the band wagon, should have got Adkins, should have got Macdermot. Their all below us.

The fact Is HR has got us above where any of us realistically thought we'd be at this point, and the excuse of "but it's the manner of the performances" don't cut it with me. If we were playing like Barca & were 20th people would still moan. We had a great start and expectations were raised too high. That's a fact.

That's the difference between the different reasons for loans.

I honestly don't think Keane for example has a career as a top flight striker. He's been loaned out in the hope of having a good season & someone coming in for him. Can you see him going back to carve out a future with his patent club? No, me neither and I think they know that.

Loans are good when used for the right reasons, and I honestly think we're doing that with the players going out. Not so much unfortunately with the ones coming in though

Look, I like the lad, and I think he takes a goal really well, but I think part of developing a young player includes learning how to score goals at a professional level.

He's doing that now. If he'd have stayed with us, who's to say he wouldn't have scored as many and would have spent a fair few games on the bench. That's hardly what a you g player like him needs. As it is hell come back next season, fresh in the knowledge he can score at a decent level and with sky high confidence going in to a season where he wants to prove himself.

People seem to be misunderstanding the difference between loaning someone out to develop them, and loaning someone out as he's surplus to requirements, and that's not what TH's loan is about.

He will come back a far stronger and more developed player as a result of this loan.

Again, people are too blind to look at things with perspective.

Sending him out on loan was the best thing that could have happened. Let the guy learn how to play in a competitive league, then bring him back for next season, where he's had a full season of already playing 1st team football.

It's what happens in football.

Look at the scum down the road. Their best strikers out on loan for the 2nd season. Once he's recalled next season he's going to be a right handful and a shoe in for one of the top 5 goal scorers in the league, but I suppose Mourinho's clueless too, and he's lost the plot like HR?

Does his "twitch" affect his managerial ability? Just wondering why the op seemed to list that in his faults?

Some complete and utter pr1cks follow our club unfortunately. They seem to think we have a god given right to walk the league. Back in August people were fearing relegation and generally a poor season, yet here we sit in 3rd, and people are still not satisfied.

All these football experts who believe he's "lost the plot" and "hasn't got a clue" I'd love to see your actual depth of football knowledge. I'd love to see you actually conduct a training session or complete a team talk. You could write what you all know on the back of a fag packet.

Do you people honestly believe you know more than a guy who's been in professional football all his life? Dear god, grow up FFS.

Your gonna hound the bloke out, and what then? Who's going to take over? Queue the usual suspects thrown about just because they've heard someone suggest it down the pub. Malky. Howe. Blah blah blah. Look how well Malky's team have done after all that money he spent. Look how well Howe done at Burnley. No research or facts to back it up, just people thinking they know more about the game than they do.

Wonder how many spuds fans wish they'd kept HR now? Champions league to.... Well, middle of the league.

If your talking about replacing HR then at least find someone who would seriously improve the team. Don't just opt for someone young and hungry. I'm young and hungry, but it don't mean I know more than HR.

The Plane That Vanished Channel 5

Been saying this for days.

Planes don't always break up on landing on water. If the hijackers did not allow the evacuation procedures to be followed up upon landing, eventually the plane would have sunk. No life boats deployed / doors opened for passengers to evacuate means it would have just sunk as it was. No fuel slick due to no fuel and no reckage.

Only plausible explanation

Can't believe people are calling for Laudrup. All he'd see us as is a stepping stone. As soon as someone came knocking he's be gone in a shot.

I like Powell. He's done well in a so far short career. Some managers take years before achieving a promotion, yet he's already got one under his belt. He was a pretty decent player, and comes across as a decent bloke.

I'd much rather someone like Powell than Laudrup or some other money grabbing toe rag.

Just for the record, I want Arry to stay, but would like someone like Powell for when Arry eventually leaves.

Online petition to ban Tom Cleverley from World Cup
at 09:10 5 Mar 2014

I never forgave him for that. I didn't like him before which probably made my hatred even more severe.

Granted, he was such a talented footballer, but to leave arguably the worlds biggest club to go and play in a no mark league in a country that dosnt give 2 hoots about "soccer" for nothing other than money, proved to me he was a c***. Most lads would give there left arm to play for RM, yet this clowns more interested in money. Drives me mad. Don't like him, and don't like his manager. Sorry, his wife.

Back on subject though, it's a ridiculous petition. If it was to stop JT or Cashley or Fat Frank then if happily sign it, and with good reason too, but not a young lad that's got a pretty promising career ahead of him
