Was going to come up today (from the Midlands) and head for the same fayre at the Cottage, FY4MIKEH.
Looked at the weather forecast last night...some showers forecast for later on, so no problem....but this morning heard the BBC's apocalyptic forecast, turned to their site and read, 'Overcast early morning in Blackpool, heavy showers around 11:00, turning to heavy rain, thunder and lightning and possible flooding this afternoon and into the evening.
With that we abandoned our plans, only to find it ain't so bad. So missus has missed her regular treat.
Effin' BBC - £3.5 BILLION they charge us all and for what?
PS: Missus is pee'd off and says whoever posted the picture of the stake pudding, gravy, double chips and haddock can stuff it ** ***** ****.
She's really quite angry. Perhaps next week! |

If only it had been televised, the BBC etc would be showing it even today. Not only the best Blackpool goal, but the best goal that I seen in any football match anywhere. |
