Austin - Man Of The Moment

Karl henry is mom for me, great performance, used the ball well and stuck to his task, other more technical players could learn from him, too many misplaced passes for my liking but a great battling display.

Realistic who's to replace Remy then (in 2 days)
at 13:48 31 Aug 2014

Hooper has proved he's not good enough at this level, some people say because he was sh@t last season he has "prem experience" that's just complete bs.
Not sure on who we'll go for but would rather loan a player in and improve his stock for another side than buy an expensive paper weight.

Final week of the transfer window thread
at 20:59 26 Aug 2014

I hate these protracted transfer windows and not playing on Saturday at 3pm I honestly like the "idea" of the premier league more than the reality.
If we sign anyone it should be a striker and or centre back and unless there's any injuries no-one else in Jan. Stability please.

The voice of reason blob. Your not helping. If anyone is to blame it's that abomination spark.

I'd rather have our rivals play in the same league so we get the chance of beating them twice a year, and for the X factor a local derby brings to the atmosphere in the ground and the field of play.
But I do find their current situation f*king funny (sry konk) but I hope they get promoted.

Don't know what the dramas all about, we need a strong squad not just a strong 11 injuries and dips in form or tactical changes. There isn't a onesize fits all squad that we can afford that will beat every team in the league, we will probably need to take a different approach against everyone we play and that means player interchange. Don't panic drama queens.
If the rumoured 75k for jb is true that's madness, but we need to have a replacement first, and decide with premier league money now comming in it might be better to stay put.

The black and white opinions of jb and many others on Twitter and elsewhere about Gaza and peace are generally infuriating, Joey should stop being such a prat or find someone to vet what he says. As far as religion goes, I don't believe in magic. So.Yeah.

Losing the plot
at 15:29 29 Jul 2014

Spot on quality over quantity I did advocate a return of Niko but after abit of analysis of last season he was to absent far too often. The signings we make need to be real assets we are never going to have a top quality squad because we don't have the money, but a top quality 1st team is a must for survival.

niko returning?
at 13:24 27 Jul 2014

Love to see him back, but at the right price.
Not consistent enough to be the go to guy but good enough to make a difference on his day, quality in the centre of the park is a worry at the moment we're awash with talented attacking midfielders on the wing but only have Barton in the middle and his passing isn't great, brilliant at winning the ball but we need a back up and someone who can get hold of the ball. Exciting times ahead.

Rat off to Spain

Without the rat Liverpool won't win anything. He is for all his many faults an incredible football player. Liverpool need a miracle, Ricky lambert not even close to filling the gap.

Joes is the worst player on the pitch, for both sides followed by smalling. Ox is playing well now too many off the pace. Rooney isn't world class. let's hope no-one gets injured from the a team.

Get Carter.
Snatch and lockstock are good, obviously godfather, goodfellas, carlitos way but to name a few in the mafia gangster genre. New(ish) films American gangster, public enemies and only God forgives also need a shout.

Best film by genre: horror
at 15:01 7 Jun 2014

1. Alien - best atmosphere ever created in a film, made a space a real lonely place with rogue beasties on the loose.
2. The Thing - again really good atmosphere and a terrifying concept
3. Paranormal activities- alot will disagree but nearly kaked my pants watching the first one. Remember watching in a messdeck(living room on a ship)of 35 blokes in pitch black nearly had a heart attack. Obviously when the lights came on everyone said it was sh@t even though they'd reacted the most, lol.

My inner child says anything with zombies or darleks.
