A couple of young talented players signed their first professional contracts this week but everyone is waiting nervously for news on Alun Wyn Jones.

Remember as it was a play off the gate receipts would be shared between the two regions.
It would be very much in the interest of the Ospreys to publish a smaller gate than was actually there as it would result in less money being handed over to their closest rivals.
They also published that over 40% of the crowd were under 16’s so only taking £5 per spectator when those that were there would know that due to the late Saturday night kick off there were less than 10% in fact!

For the record I estimate between 10,500 and 11,500 in the ground.

The champions cup draw is the end of June and their in with some pretty wealthy clubs:)
At least they made it which can’t be said of Llanelli, Cardiff and Newport.

Massive congratulations to the Ospreys after their huge win over Llanelli at the Liberty stadium on Saturday evening.
Tough physical game but the Ospreys definitely had the edge in all departments and they can now look forward to a top tier European champions cup campaign against teams with quadruple their funding.
